We are looking for a Vet or Veterinary assistant (m/f/d) to set up Claims Management & Training in Insurance (m/f/d)
Your working environment
New and modern office at Frankfurt at Main, directly in the banking quarter in the city center.
Your responsibility
1. building up and developing the claims department:
⋆ In cooperation with management and our internal vets in Germany and colleagues in France, adapt existing processes, guidelines and policies for the German market.
⋆ Close exchange with our vets, the sales, marketing, HR/training and IT (ERP) departments nationally and internationally, in German and English.
⋆ You work independently, structured and goal-oriented on your topics and projects and drive them forward independently.
2. technical claims processing:
⋆ You will check submitted invoices and documents from our customers' pets (vet bills, doctor's letters, diagnoses, x-rays, lab reports, etc.) and decide whether these invoices can be reimbursed based on our specifications and guidelines. You will work with our in-house ERP system.
⋆ If necessary, you will conduct research and consult with our internal departments.
⋆ Professional and comprehensive customer support via e-mail and telephone.
3. training and knowledge transfer:
⋆ You will assist in the training and development of our internal sales staff (call center) so that they can independently process claims from our customers.
⋆ You will assist in the creation of training materials and e-learnings in the area of claims processing.
⋆ You will receive comprehensive support and guidance from our internal training department.
Your profile
⋆ Completed studies in veterinary medicine
⋆ Alternatively completed professional apprenticeship as veterinary assistant or TFA (m/f/d)
⋆ Several years of professional experience in a veterinary practice or veterinary clinic with a focus on small animals (dogs, cats) mandatory.
⋆ You are very familiar with doctor's letters, diagnoses, x-rays, laboratory reports, etc. and can understand them professionally. You have a good knowledge of billing in a veterinary practice.
⋆ Communicative and open personality. You are flexible, have a positive attitude and always try to find a workable solution.
⋆ You work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner and drive topics forward on your own.
⋆ You enjoy setting up new processes and structures.
⋆ You enjoy passing on your knowledge and training colleagues.
⋆ Very good German and English skills are mandatory. Knowledge of French is a plus.
⋆ Monthly travel nationally and internationally.
⋆ The position has limited home office capability: 100% presence required during set-up, 20-40% home office possible thereafter.
